IN A NUTSHELL
The project at a glance.
First, we addressed delivery. Then we connected orders and shops. With that foundation, we built a digital shopping experience for individual customers and businesses.
Buying flowers is a personal experience: choosing them, trusting the seller and receiving a delicate product in good condition. The challenge was to bring that experience to a website and an app without losing what made the market special.
01 / THE CHALLENGE
Trust had to travel too.
The shops at Mercado de Flores had their own way of selling and connecting with customers. Digitizing the business meant respecting that dynamic, making remote shopping easier and coordinating deliveries of products with different sizes and levels of fragility.
Increasing orders was not enough. If a flower arrived damaged or a delivery could not be arranged, the entire experience lost value. That made the first challenge an operational one: building logistics that could support online sales.
A good digital experience begins long before the screen.
02 / THE SOLUTION
From logistics to shopping, one connected journey.
We started with a logistics service designed to transport delicate products. We tested alternatives and developed an ordering system that let businesses coordinate on-demand and scheduled deliveries in Lima.
We built the Mercado de Flores website and application on top of that operation. The goal was for buyers to keep in touch with their sellers and place orders without traveling to the market.
Scheduled deliveries also helped anticipate stock requirements. For a business selling perishable products, knowing part of the demand in advance changes how it prepares, especially during busy periods.
- On-demand and scheduled orders managed in one operation.
- A website and an app to bring shops closer to their buyers.
- Retail and wholesale purchasing to meet different needs.
03 / THE IMPACT
Greater reach, with the same care.
The original case study reports a 60% increase in sales and an operation that reached more than 100 daily deliveries, including peak-demand periods. The digital presence brought the market closer to people who knew it but did not visit often.
Scheduled orders made it easier to plan purchases and deliveries. At the same time, the online channel opened up a more practical way for businesses to buy wholesale without spending time on an in-person visit.
The lesson was clear: a website and app work better when the operation behind them is ready to deliver on their promises.
- +60%
- reported increase in sales
- 100+
- daily deliveries reached
- Web + App
- for retail and wholesale purchases
